Heya! so I haven't been posting here dispite actually posting chapters (you may notice that the chapter numbers have jumpped from the last similar post... the chapters are up on twisting the hellmouth and fanfiction.net - links to my profiles on both these sites are found on the left had side somewhere) so I thought I should maybe actually go back to using this blog as I intended. I'm currently concentrating on KttP and plan to actually put that story up here when I do my big re-uploading thing once my current revisions of the story are done. I hope to have both this and the next chapter done in the next fortnight or so.

My sister and I are planning on climbing the highest building in London! 42 floors of stairs! We're doing it in full fancy dress and the people who sponsor us get to decide what we wear... this might be a bad idea. Anyway I'm looking forward to the day. A good excuse to do some exercise (training) and the like. Should be fun =D

Yay so I actually buckled down and got some writing done today! not quite finished the next chapter for Choices, but I'm alot closer than I have been for... nearly 2 months. This one's really left me stuck. It's more just rounding out the skeleton I've built and finishing it off now. Which is nice.

I'm also feeling all productive in my life since I managed to sort out my kitchen worktop and have done 2/? (maybe 5 or 6) coats of oil. Each coat takes 24hrs to dry.... so it won't be done for a while. but hey at least it's started. I do still have 2 of the 6 current books in the Hollows series to read (I got burnt out after 5 books in 9 days). I kinda have an idea for a Hollows fic... but It prob wont be a crossover. And it might be pairing centric!! never done that before and it scares me. I'll be dabbling at writing it and will try to not let it slow down any updates to my ongoing fic atm. Ooh and I've been watching True Blood! (yes I know... slight overdose in vampire fiction... but hey, it's all fun).

Anyway, assuming the cold which kept me in bed typing today instead of out and about (not that I really had anything much to do)... anyway assuming I dont get worse (and so actually stay abed sleeping as a pose to reading/writing) I think I might manage to finish the chapter soon! like in the next few days. Def no promises on that tho.

So I've done very little in the past few days... I intended to write more over the weekend... I also intended to sand my kitchen worktop and refinish it... none of these things happened because instead IT SNOWED!! yes this weekend saw the most snow in London for... well my lifetime. so you have to forgive me (and the rest of my fellow londoners) for going a little bit crazy for the white stuff. We had about 8 inches, which to alot of people arround the globe isn't much. But to london and londoners it apparently meant the be all and end all. On monday we had no trains, no busses, few tubes. Those brave people who trudged into work were worshipped for their tenacity. Generally the city as a whole grumbled to a halt. Which I totally loved.

It was like this bizzare combination of inner city and small town life. the streets were silent, or quiet at least, and people walking along them greet strangers happily... join up with people they've never met to defeat others in a snow fight or even just build a snowman. For some reason the coating of white over everything in sight made London a far more amiable place. Not, I hasten to add, that I dislike london under normal circumstances... I'm completely in love with my birthplace. But it was magical to see it in this whole new light. To see something that hasn't happened since before I can remember.

Okay, so I've kinda disappeared again... but honestly it's not like my 'I won't be here for a year' things... partly I think I burnt out slightly with KttP (I was writing that nearly every night and it got a bit much) and well... I found a whole new fandom... so I've read 4 1/3 books in the past week or so. Which doesnt leave much time for me to write myself but does have a tendancy to inspire me (unfortunately not currently the two chapters which need to be written next) anyway I plan on returning my concentration to Chosen (or Choices... you know what I mean) but... last time I said that I wrote 4 chapters of KttP in 3 weeks. So who knows.

I had an idea that since the only people who could/would find out about this are those who find the blog linked to my tth account, or any who know about this email (and therefore generally about my fanfic) and find me... I'll keep an update of the state of my in progress stories here, to try to give you an idea of what I'm up to. I might start posting parts of what I've done under lj cuts as I start to finish off a chapter (if it's a long one... or I'm being especially slow about it)

I finally decided to sort out my journal so it looks okay... kinda. Hopefully that might actually make me post things here. I've been thinking of posting my btvs crossover fanfic and maybe discussing them here. so... well we'll see how I do.
